Hey girls – if you are thinking about buying a FaceTub product you’re in the right place. I’ve been practicing face plunging for years and recently got the facetub to take my practice to the next level. Here is everything you need to know about this product.
How To Use The FaceTub
What is The FaceTub?
The FaceTub is a tub that is designed specifically for practicing ice water facials. The tub is perfectly sized so that you can submerge your face under water comfortably without hitting the sides or only getting part of your face in. Additionally, it has a snorkel built in and comes with nose plugs so that you can keep your face underwater for longer and continue to breathe while underwater.
Why Should You Do Daily Face Plunging?

Daily face plunging or ice water therapy is one of my favorite wellness practices because it provides so many great benefits. Some of the top benefits include:
- Reduce inflammation – I’ve found that dipping my face in ice water does an excellent job at reducing inflammation in my face. This is great especially when I’ve had a lot of salt and my face puffs up like a blowfish.
- Increase alertness and energy – Rather than have another cup of coffee or tea, face plunging is a much more effective way of giving me energy and making me more alert without ingesting more caffeine. The shock to your system from the ice water really wakes you up and gets you going.
- Reduce stress and lift mood – Using The FaceTub in particular can help you reduce stress by practicing deep breathing methods at the same time as icing your face. Deep breathing is a great way to decrease stress. The cold water also helps release norepinephrine into your body which is a chemical that can boost your mood and give you a natural high.
- Reduce acne – The cold water pauses oil production and tightens your pores calming inflammation of pimples and reducing shine.
- Better skin – It doesn’t just help reduce pimples and inflammation. After you exit the ice water, blood rushes back to your face, increasing circulation and giving you a more even skin tone, natural glow, and improved delivery of nutrients and oxygen to your skin cells.
The FaceTub Product Review
There are a lot of ways you can do ice water therapy without The FaceTub so here are my specific likes and dislikes about this exact product.

What I Liked About The FaceTub?
What I love about this product is it fits so perfectly to your face. I have been doing ice water face plunges for a long time and have never found a tub that actually fits my entire face perfectly. That alone for me is worth it. This is something I do everyday so i want to do it right and be comfortable. And what I like best is the built in breathing tube. I love this combination of fit and breathing because it allows me to truly keep my face under water for long enough to get the benefits of the ice water plunging but additionally i get to practice my breathing techniques which is another huge add on.
What I Disliked About The FaceTub?
To be honest there really isn’t much I dislike about this product. If there was one thing to call out i guess it would be the price. It would be great if they could see these for cheaper so that more people would buy it and get started on this amazing practice.
Conclusion, Does The FaceTub Actually Work?
Yes, I can say with confidence that The FaceTub does indeed work. I think ice water face plunges are an excellent daily practice and The FaceTub is the best product out there for doing this.
