ButcherBox Discount Code: $20 Off
Keeping good protein in the house is half the battle when you’re trying to eat well, and ButcherBox takes the grocery run out of it. It’s a meat delivery subscription that ships grass-fed beef, free-range organic chicken, crate-free pork and wild-caught seafood straight to your door, frozen and ready to stash in the freezer.
Our nutrition coach Chrissi Glow has been stocking her freezer with ButcherBox since this summer, and she teamed up with ButcherBox to get our readers $20 off their first box. Use our link below and enter CHRISSI20 at checkout.
New to ButcherBox? You pick a plan size, then build your box from 100+ cuts. Our first box had ribeyes, beef patties, chicken thighs and a bag of wild-caught Alaska sockeye salmon, and it all fit in one freezer drawer. Shipping is free, and you can skip or cancel a month anytime from your account.
How to Use Our $20 Off ButcherBox Discount Code
It takes about a minute:
- Tap our ButcherBox link to head over to their site.
- Pick your plan size and build your box. If you’re not sure where to start, a mix of steaks, chicken and salmon covers most weeknight dinners.
- At checkout, type CHRISSI20 into the promo code box.
- Hit Apply and you’ll see $20 come off your first box.

ButcherBox Discount Code FAQs
Do ButcherBox Discount Codes Expire?
Sometimes, yes. Brands switch up their promos all the time, so if a box has been sitting in your cart for a week, this is your sign. CHRISSI20 is the same code Chrissi shares with her own community, and we keep an eye on it so this page stays current.
What’s the Best ButcherBox Discount Code?
The one we use is CHRISSI20, which gets you $20 off your first box. ButcherBox also runs its own new-member offers. At the time of writing, that’s free steaks or chicken breasts added to your orders, so check what shows up in your cart before you check out. If ButcherBox runs a bigger sale, like around Black Friday or Cyber Monday, we’ll update this page so you know about it.
Is ButcherBox Worth It?
If you cook at home a few nights a week and care about where your meat comes from, we think so. Having good protein already in the freezer makes healthy dinners a lot easier to pull off. The main tradeoffs are freezer space and a higher price per pound than conventional grocery store meat.
Where Can You Find a ButcherBox Promo Code That Actually Works?
Coupon sites can be hit or miss. A lot of what’s posted there is expired, so you end up pasting in code after code hoping one sticks. We keep CHRISSI20 current on this page, so you can skip the guessing game.
More Brands We Actually Recommend
We’re pretty picky about what ends up on The Girl’s List. If a brand has a discount code here, it’s because one of us actually uses the product and would buy it again at full price. Poke around while you’re here. You might find your next favorite thing and save a few bucks on it too.
